Sorry.
I did not read the instructions carefully. He does not want to know what it is, but how many people know what it means. People seem to need league tables and statistics for everything.
“I don’t know what it is, but according to an internet survey 94% of cyclists replied nope. So I am okay.”
Ah–its no big deal. If you wanted to edit out your answer, that’s cool, but it is just all tomfoolery anyway.I’m just embarrassed I didn’t know what it was for. I thought it had something to do with keeping a certain amount of pressure on the chain.
You probably didn’t know you could catch this much crap just for answering a poll question, either.
the closer the top derailleur pulley is to the cassette cog, the more extreme the chain angle when switching gears. makes shifting faster. put the chain in your easiest gear and back the b-screw off as far as possible. If you go from a 21 to a 25, you might have to adjust it, but not a 21 to 23 or 23 to 25.
