I have a softride rocket 650 with a 42 small ring in the front that rubs on the chainstay when out of the saddle. A LBS put a spacer between the bb and the frame and now the cassette/derailleur is a bit noisy. Any suggestions?
I know you’re serious but I want to say “you HAVE to be kidding me”. I’m dumbstruck by this. I have ridden 42s on all of my bikes for as long as I can remember and usually have enough room for the chain to slip inside if it falls off.
Was it always like this? What does Softride say? If this is a new bike I’d return it and by something designed a little better.
