A few searches come up with a few problems for users of 910s and power meters, but not finding anything for a 310xt and a powertap sl+.
Can anyone point me to a thread or solution that may detail why my power meter is suddenly outputting very, very low numbers. Readings have been low for the past week or two. Batteries changed in Nov or Dec, so I don’t think that could be it.

Thanks for any help.
You didn’t eat your Wheaties?
I assume you have calibrated? If so, you might try doing a hard-reset. I had similar trouble with my 800 and had to do a hard reset. Unfortunately, the files on the Garmin are pretty easily corrupted and a hard-reset re-initializes them. That, of course, means you also have to redo all your customizations. If you know anyone else with a 310 you could try theirs and see if the power numbers are different. If so, it would indicate definitely a problem with the 310 rather than the power meter.
If you last changed the batteries in Nov/Dec, that is most likely the cause. Mine generally last 3-4 months.
Thanks for the response, ppl. I would have thought those batteries lasted much longer than that. I have used the pm quite a bit since I replaced the batteries, so will try that tonight.
