310 won't pick up PowerTap

I replaced the batteries in the PT, rescanned and it will not pick it up. Any ideas?

I have done the rescan on the 310 multiple times…

Any help quilt be greatly appreciated.

I’m guessing you’ve already gone over the obvious (like, it’s an ANT+ powertap). You can try getting new batteries. Sometimes those batteries just sit on shelves for eons. Unfortunately, sometimes it’s not the batteries. Sometimes, the unit (PT) dies. But check with another computer if you can. If not, Saris customer service is great and can almost always fix them for a relatively minimal cost (if anything).

I have not had this problem but… I’ll state the obvious things to check (which you prob already checked)

Did you put the in right battery?
Did you install it correctly?
Is the 310 enabled to receive the PT?
Are you using the PT while scanning? (not sure this matters)

Thanks. It used to work with my 310, that is why I just thought the batteries were dead, however it would not pair with my Joule either. Plan to replace the batteries one more time then call Saris if it doesn’t come alive.

Exactly! Was thinking about how much $ it was going to cost to fix it the entire ride today.

Switched the battery and bingo, works like a champ.
