I went with DA instead of Campy so I could add in the SRM’s. (New edit, I switched to Campy. I couldn’t envision a campy disk with DA derailleurs) Can anyone beat that? (Without a solid gold custom frame. Has to be actually rideable)

$2000 dollars for aerobars…

!) better be taking like 30 min off pr.

thats ut of control…

you forgot the cost of the divorce when you tell your wife you spent $20K on a bike…

You can use a D/A crank w/ all other Campy components, so you can jack up the bar end shifters a little. Just use the D/A chain (which I think you missed).

Stem? Or is it integrated into the bars?

dude, if theres no picture it doesn`t exist.

Your right I missed the chain, and the cassette. I’ll edit that post.

As far as pictures, you’re right it doesn’t exist.

that’s funny!

(or, as tom says, “that’s HUGE!”)

how much does it weigh???

Not bad. A few mods: Swap out the Zipps for a set of Lightweight Obermayers at $5500 a set (www.competitivecyclist.com) Run a set of Dugast silks – around $350 a pair, I think

For $20K I think I would want all the parts to work together without any fiddling. The BMC has an integrated stem, fork, headset thingy. I don’t know if you you can put any kind of bar on it or not. Here is a link:

I would put those Obermayers on a road bike super bike. Maybe you can come up with a $20k road bike.

you forgot the cost of the divorce when you tell your wife you spent $20K on a bike…
and how about the cost of relocating to a new town because all of your friends think you are crazy for spending $20,000 on a bike (the $2,000 bars really pushed it over the top with them) and have ostracized you

I’m sure it’s a tiny drop compared to the divorce…

you forgot the cost of the divorce when you tell your wife you spent $20K on a bike…
(how about this one:) you forgot about the cost of the penile-enhancement surgery because (like the guy with the monster truck or flashy sportscar) you are obviously compensating for a tiny little penis

hmmm…I don’t know…but I don’t want that BMC
.

Yeah, I even if I actually had that kind of cash, I would never buy a bike like that. I would feel like such a tool riding it. And if I ever saw a friend on one, I would ridicule them until they cried.

I believe that Temple Cycles can beat that. Visit their website - I think they mention their capabilites up to $50,000. Also check out poshbikes.com

Does anyone remember the infamous America brand beryllium frame from the 90’s? $30,000 for the frame alone.

First off you need to swap those Veloflexes for something expensive, say Dugasts or Conti Olympics
.

Looks great, but are you sure you can mount 2 cages?

I don’t much about expensive tubulars. Can you give me prices I could substitute in?
