$22,000 bike in the USA TODAY! Wow

Check out this bad boy, not as cool as a P3C or a pink PlanetX I suppose.

Bike fanciers know about Trek and Specialized, but how about off-the-wall names such as Moots, Parlee and Land Shark?

Didn’t think so.<<

Ha. Unless you live around here, then you see lots of Moots, Parlees and Land Sharks on the roads.

I got sick once from drinking too much coffee and my puke was the color scheme of that frame. Did they steal that from the Coke Blak bottle?

I like the frame color. Very unique and classy.

Bike fanciers? That is like saying: “Car afficandos know about GM and Toyota, but how about off the wall names like Bently or Lotus?” I think if you are a fancier, you should know a little about that for which is fancied. Interesting bike, but I agree, not rare around here…

And the tufo tape, wtf? The guy spends that much $ on a bike and they put on Tufo tape? Might as well use wrought iron bolts too.

Though it comes as no surprise that pros in the Tour de France, now underway, often ride custom machines that brush the five-figure mark, it’s another matter to learn that mere mortals will spend as much to slip the state-of-the-art into their garages.

Like a “five figure” bike lives in the garage.
