Absolutely moronic decision from ASO. In no way does Caja Rural bring more value to the TdF than The Rockets.
Yeah, I donât get that one. Only logic I can think of is ASO figures they already have the Dutch market with Alpecin, so Caja helps keep Spain engaged (sorry Movistar, Nairoman isnât going to be last/next stage winner).
This pre-ride video might be my favorite part of the weekend.
Torn for today. Brand had such an unbelievable season, want to see her finish it off in style. But will be as excited if Puck or Ceylin win.

I love triathlon and being able to do 3 sports well is a massive talent in and of itself. That said, some of the triathlete beliefs with regard to cycling crack me up. I say this with respect and as someone far less talented, Phil is a washed up pro and he can still take these segments. Send the top 20 riders of a grand tour to any of these segments and they would annihilate it. I donât think any triathlete would be close to what a pro cyclist can do.

The 2026 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships took place in Hulst, Netherlands, from 30 January to 1 February 2026, with the Menâs Elite race held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at 15:10 CET.
Mathieu van der Poel, the reigning seven-time world champion and overwhelming favorite, was expected to aim for an historic eighth titleâa record-breaking achievement. However, he did not compete due to injury.
The race was won by Thibau Nys of Belgium, who claimed his first elite world title. Nys, who had previously finished third in 2025, delivered a dominant performance on the challenging 3.24 km course with 40 meters of elevation gain, 7 bridges, and 22 stairs.
Other top contenders included Tibor Del Grosso, Niels Vandeputte, Michael Vanthourenhout, Toon Aerts, Emiel Verstrynge, and Laurens Sweeck, though several faced setbacks during the season.

Yeah, thatâs a âwhat might have beenâ. The way things were going over the past couple of weeks, Puck was a real threat to beat Brand. That was a hard crash. Gritty podium finish.
