Over the Christmas holidays, my BIL in CA - the one who abandoned his mom, and sent her to us in NJ to live out her last days, without any consult with us = “she’s yours now” - sent a Christmas card to D’Kid at our address here, although she’s lived elsewhere for nearly two years now
The card was not so much “how are you? We miss you” but “this is what all your step-cousins are doing” — not much to say about her REAL cousins
Anyway, one of the step-cousins is working for LA Rams in some marketing assignment
