I think Steelers fans expected the loss to Cincy as the perennial pothole game but were understandably shocked and angry about the GB debacle. As much as we expected the Cincy loss we expect to right the ship against Indy at home. This will say a lot about where the season is heading and the fan base’s tolerance for Tomlin. Best case scenario for him, the SS Mediocrity corrects course and we lose in the wildcard round. Best case for us is a complete collapse and a high value Tomlin trade heading into the draft.
I haven’t seen the fan base this fed up before.
Dang. I wish that I had known that Lamar would be starting. I looked the day before and it looked like it was questionable. Oh well. Should have checked again.
You probably should have checked who the Ravens were playing.

I know. It seems that when I pick against the Dolphins they play great. My thought was that the Ravens without Lamar suck as bad as the Dolphins, except that the Dolphins would be at home.
Now I know, which means that I’ll get it wrong at least 5 more times.

Pittsburgh just traded for a safety who will start today. They lost their top guy to season ending knee injury last game and were thin n the backfield already. Number one offense in the league playing against a depleted terrible Pittsburgh defense, I don’t see how they keep pace running essentially a jumbo package offense against this Colts offensive machine. Taylor alone would be too much for them to handle before a pass is even thrown.
This will be one of the 50+ point games but it won’t be Pittsburgh’s redemption game. They’re not built to beat a team like this. Changing my pick to Indy.
