We’ll call a “lead change” a score that puts a team in the lead.
First score counts as a lead change since one team takes a lead they didn’t hold previously. Scoring to tie the game does not count as a lead change.

I think the Hawks take the lead early and win the TO battle to maintain the lead throughout. That sets up an MVP, CC1 and CC2 in your favor.
I hope everyone has a great time watching the game!
Those are my thoughts too, adding that I think they (Seahawks) will have trouble running. Picking JSN is probably more with my heart than my head. Everyone likes a redemption story, so Darnold has that. Also, MVPs are greatly skewed towards QBs.
So Seahawks kick a field goal
Patriots kick a field goal
Seahawks score a TD
Patriots score a TD
Seahawks score a TD
Game over
How many lead changes?
Three?
I would say 3 or 5 but the way Sphere answered I interpreted as just one.
Defined above, bet is number of times a team gets into the lead.
one team takes a lead they didn’t hold previously is what hung me up
So your answer is three too?
Super Bowl Sunday:
New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks
MVP: Drake Maye
Commissioner’s Choice:
The number of turnovers will ba as high or greater than the number of lead changes (first score counts as 1), No
The final snap of the game will be in Victory Formation (kneel down), No
- The number of turnovers will ba as high or greater than the number of lead changes (first score counts as 1), Y or N
- The final snap of the game will be in Victory Formation (kneel down), Y or N
Yes to both
Game starts: 0-0
So Seahawks kick a field goal: 3-0 SEA takes lead
Patriots kick a field goal: 3-3
Seahawks score a TD: 10-3 SEA takes lead
Patriots score a TD: 10-10
Seahawks score a TD: 17-10 SEA takes lead
Game over
Three lead changes. A tie does not put the tying team in the lead, so no lead change.
If you cant say X team took the lead from Y team, no lead change has occurred.
To take the lead one must not have the lead. Tie thing is weird.

They were leading, then they weren’t
Then they were again
Then they weren’t again
Then they finally were
Three
It would be the same if NE tied it then went ahead, but SEA tied back up then went ahead
For the bet a lead change only happens when a score moves the team that was not in the lead into the lead. Scoring to tie does not factor in whatever, only scores that produce a new lead.
I get it.
Taking the lead counts. Losing the lead does not.
Even though one could say Team X losing the lead, to a tie score, is a lead change. Good that you defined it earlier.
I should have made it “lead switch” for clarity.
I should have made it “lead switch” for clarity.
I found it to be perfectly clear from the get go. The issue is a board filled with pedants who will argue about ANYTHING!! Heaven forbid someone lose a point because they didn’t get clarification, and come in 12th by 3 points instead of 12th by 2 points in the free NFL pool.

Word. Sphere has clarified how it will work, end of story. He put in a bunch of hours running this pool, thanks Sphere!
Try to defend my perfect score from last week. My performance this season mirrors the Giants, winning a week when it meant nothing.
