Russ and Rodgers are both slow now but if they improve the line, I’d take Russ with those two big deep ball threats.

They’re still going with a stopgap because the QBs in this year’s draft aren’t super interesting.
I think they’ll see how he plays in this rebuild year with an eye to future drafts - particularly if they can merge some of their picks into a higher 1st round pick in 2026.
Darnold wound up being a little cheaper than resigning Geno would have, plus he’s younger, so not a terrible swap.
That should solve Cleveland’s QB problems for the next however many days until training camp starts.

Only team in the league with no QBs under contract but it’s looking like Rodgers on Tuesday at a ridiculous price. I’ll be shocked if it isn’t him or Russ. Not much else out there and we need more than one.
