I feel the same, but I think this is what’s going to happen. I was hoping we would see a big fight today but it was pretty much a snooze fest.
I think Pogi and Vingo have spoiled me with their awesome fights

Patroned it today. Tomorrow will be very interesting.
I feel the other way. I think Carapaz is going to explode the race in the Finestre. He is a former Giro winner so I am guessing is all or nothing for him. I really want Del Toro to win it, what an amazing athlete and he seems like a really nice kid too.
Obviously Wout can help on more terrain (all terrain?) and when in '21/'22 (Vuelta '24) form he could do one of the final turns on the mtn, but…Majka has been so reliable as a climbing domestique. It’s hard to google domestique palmares! If you asked raging DT, whom would he pick?
Uae is SO deep that I can’t think of Majka going for a personal result (other than rock/scissors/paper with Tadej one time?) in the last 5 years.
Paz and EF certainly have broken this up already. Such intrigue! Its a nice Saturday morning making smoothies with the girls and watching a bike race while the wife gets a spa day. Hopefully the race is settled within a few hours because I promised the kiddos a ride into town for brunch and a dad date.
@torrey I think you are going to get your wish.
Raging DT really needs his domestiques - I’d be begging them to try to get up there and help.
I just came here to say holy fuckballs, Yates! What a move. Wake up and see this shit going down?? What a Giro. And Wout waiting up the road. Genuis.
simon doing a 2019 carapaz (winning) impression.
wout must have heard us typing - he should be able to give simon a big enough lead for final 5k.
embarrassing for dt / uae - hopefully dt gets a simon redemption moment in a few years. Gee should catch and show them once again how you ride a bike
This is some awesome redemption for Yates. He looks like he is just floating up the mountain. Tactical masterclass with tug buddy Wout up the road repeating his mountain goat help from years ago.
While this might not be peak Wout, he is getting closer and closer. One has to wonder how good he was going to be without coming into this Giro with that damned virus. I’m really happy for the team, for Wout and for Yates. What a hell of a Giro.
UAE really fucked this up, but what a beautiful thing to see, Wout waiting for Simon and getting to work!!! I fucking love Wout.
Wout and Matteo being on the same team make it so easy to love Lisa.
Yesterday Yates was upset about how his team executed their tactics. Has to be happy today.
never good to type while angry (and riding trainer for penance), but has brandon mcnutty taken a turn since dt got pink 2 weeks ago?
lets go gee!
Losing Vine hurt. A bodyguard, McNulty, should have been up the road with Wout. They decided to keep everyone back and ready.
I jumped when Yates got out of saddle to come around and go!
It looked to me like McNulty has ridden for his own GC all race. Yeah he has done some work, but not as a pure domestique.
I’ll be honest, I teared up a bit with Yates reaction after the finish. The Giro delivers as always.
Same I was surprised. You could hear his joy.
Watching him sob is why there is nothing like this.
And Wout. Just, Wout.
