To make a bizarro segue; the other day I learned that Bo Jackson was drafted by the NY Yankees while in HS, but chose to go to Auburn instead. When entered the NFL draft, he was selected by the TB Buccaneers but held out b/c he thought they were trying to “sabotage” his baseball career. He was drafted AGAIN by the Raiders, while playing baseball for the KC Royals, and we know how everything went after that

I acknowledge the greatness part. Still worth watching, but for me the classics are about all the game theory and group dynamics. And Pog is just a caveman with a giant club. There’s no game, just a beatdown.
I hope Healy and Ciccone hang on - they deserve it.

Yeah, I do understand the other side of the coin, and why some might find it boring.

Another spring campaign come and gone! Provisional results below. Will do one last re-review and allow opportunities for appeal, then finalize.
@echappist reclaims his title from @ClayDavis. But @rmt with an eye opening ride starting with one of only three folks on the podium at a wild OHN.
I expect a podium chug video as Clay set the precedent. Need to brainstorm a bit, but think Lanterne Rogue @McNulty deserves at least a shot glass.
As for today, @fredericknorton was best of rest with Ciccone on podium. Great call. Nys was a strong 5th!
Pog is what he is, and still enjoyable. Strade despite a crash, and a thrilling MSR, PR made up for the predictable wins.
All right, off to Albania to chase the Maglia Rosa!

I’d say the difference between Pogi AND MVdp and everyone else…
I feel I’ve seen Pogi have a few bad days in 1 day races (not many!), but MVdp maybe NEVER in 1 day??

That was worth an indoor ride. I won’t spoil it, except to say that the part they streamed was more dynamic than a typical highlights clip. And a Classics record was set.
I’m with you on not spoiling it. For those who didn’t see it, it is worth the watch.

Thanks for keeping track of all this! It was fun. This is the first year I submitted picks and think I just missed posting for one race. Given it’s the first year, I’m happy to finish just off the podium behind ClayDavis. Just for my own curiosity, what are the tie breakers?

Oof. I have to search the archives for tie breaker. I just root for it not to happen. 
@echappist may recall, but I think it is whoever picks the most winners correctly, and then next is podium finishers.
Yeah that seems fair and in line most championship tie breakers - most wins. I’ve lurked for several years and decided this was the year to give it a go.

As for spectating men’s racing, the last 2-3 seasons have been a real let-down of sorts. All the unpredictability of cycling just gone, which is too bad. All the more impressive for Pedersen and Skejlmoose to pull off their wins.
At least the women’s racing is still superb. I’m debating whether to pony up to watch il Giro (getting awfully expensive).

In the tradition of Spoilers integrity, I’m going to self report. I believe the rules state that you must suck EVERY week and I missed a sign in for FW thus disqualifying me for the Lanterne Rouge. I’m gutted. Always next year I guess.
