Agree, no matter how impressive Knibb’s achievements have been, Cassandre doing the double Olympic gold and WTCS World Champ (not to mention winning several other WTCS races on top of that) takes the cake.
If mixing men and women for that award, then it comes down to Alex or TK in second. But isn’t it awesome that now we have so many great series in our sport we can see how amazing those top triathletes are. And there are many!

I think some people think France also won the relay… As they surely would have if not for that crash…
It’s a toss up between CB and Knibb for me with the slight edge going to CB mainly because I view the Olympic gold higher than the 70.3 title (T100 & WTCS being about equal considering they both dominated).
I also think if you’re putting Kat Mathews in the mix then you also need to put Wilde in there. Considering he won SuperTri, 2nd at Olympics, 2nd at 70.3 WC, and 3rd overall in the WTCS, I’d argue he did just as well over the different distances/formats as Kat did.

Eh, I wouldn’t read too much into the Discourse stats (based on what we’re seeing out of other Analytics tools and server load).
Whole lot more people clicking the “see results” versus voting. But not all that shocked given when we posted and still being vacation week.
