I am selling my 2011 Cervelo P2, carbon fiber triathlon racing bike, mens 54 cm.
THE HISTORY:
Purchased brand new end-of-season in January of 2013. It was ridden a decent amount for one season, until August 2013, about 1500-2000 miles, combination of road and trainer, and raced only once (half iron distance). Since August 2013, it has less than 200 total miles on it. It has never been crashed, and has never fallen over with the rider clipped in (a miracle).
THE SPECS:
54 cm, full carbon fiber frame
Ultegra rear derailleur, 10 speed cassette (in very good shape)
Ultegra front derailleur
Compact 50/34 ring set, FSA Gossamer crank set (standard size)
ADD ON: Cateye Strada Cadence (not wireless) computer
ADD ON: ISM Adamo Road saddle (added at purchase, same number of miles as the bike)
ADD ON: Shimano 105 road pedals with low mileage
THE BOTTOM LINE:
This bike is in absolutely great shape and I really don’t want to let it go, but I’m such a miserable triathlete that I’ve decided to get out of the sport and into something that I can be just as bad at for a lower price point. I’m listing for $1500, which is a great price for a bike with the three add-ons listed above (MSRP was around $2400 brand new). The bike was serviced pre-race last year and, like I said, has not been ridden much since then. For $1500, I’ll take it to the bike shop and have a new chain put on and have them run through the mechanics to make sure it’s in tip-top shape before I mail it.
