2010 Scott Plasma Ltd. $5500 (reduced)

2010 Scott Plasma Ltd. size XXS (47-49cm) purchased Dec. 2010

Full SRAM Red drivetrain, Profile CX3 one piece aerobars, Profile stem, ZIPP 808/1080 wheels(Corso Evo CX II tires), Fizik carbon saddle, 170mm SRAM Red cranks with 54/42 SRAM aero chaninrings - can swap out for 53/39 SRAM rings if requested.

In the stratosphere of ultra-exotic super tri bikes there are some questionable technologies and there are some proven ones. Everything in the Plasma LTD is proven: No reinvention of the fork, braking or waterbottle. It all works, it’s all fast, you already know how to work on it (or your shop does.). While the basics are in place this design features a host of elegant refinements to improve aerodynamics, fit and ride comfort.
The component spec on this frame is what you would have done on your own after lot of research: The lightest component group, SRAM Red, ceramic bearings for lower bearing resistance, disk shaped, aerodynamic solid chainrings for stiffer, faster front shifting and lower drag, a carbon fiber Profile cockpit fully fittable with conventional stem, headset and elbow pads. A normally mounted front and rear brake (in other words, you can actually travel with this bike). A saddle you could sit on from Kona to Hawi and back again and the race wheels everyone is aspiring too- dimpled Zipps.

Leaving triathlon for a while, need to sell. The bike has been raced exactly 2 times, a sprint and a half IM, that’s it. Perfect condition, $9,500 retail for this bike, my loss could be your gain.

Comes with the Zipp wheels and no pedals.

Sweet ride!
Question: How did you fit that bottle cage under the seat? Is that a simple bontrager plastic cage?

drilled a hole in the rear of the saddle, then used 2 plastic tie straps on the top and 2 on the bottom that go through the slot in the seat post clamp. cost - $.04 Works perfectly. BTW used the same 4 tie straps to mount a holder between the bars, another $.04

Hi,I am interested in your bike, I am test riding a Plasma 20 XS 2012 this week.
I did not know Scott made an XXS.
I need to come as close to the following measurements as possible.
Reach 37.5, Stack 51.5, Seat angle 77.4. Do you know what the stack and reach
range are for this bike? Thanks, Peter

Thank you for email, can you do me a favor and measure from center point of bottom bracket on crank to the top
of your saddle in it’s highest position possible? I am all legs and short torso. thanks!

Looks like 65cm to the highest reasonable height. Also check out Trisports.com for the extended seatpost cap if you need a bit more length.

BD

I need 70 cm, I looked at extender/caps and the most they add is 50mm.

how high do you need the saddle? 85cm from the BB? that seems very high.

Where are you located? Still available?

Still available. West cost, SF Bay area.

I am going to pass, thanks for the information, good luck selling your great bike.
