Kestrel 2010 Sponsorship Program

Looking for all levels of athletes limited to 20 men and 20 women

Sponsored athletes will receive Airfoil Pro bike at Pro Deal Pricing = 50% off MSRP from Website.

Athlete must submit resume no later than August 31, 2009.

Include in your resume why you will be a good ambassador for Kestrel and how you will represent Kestrel.

Athletes will be required to race and train in Kestrel branded clothing.

Do not post resume, but send to sharad@kestrelbicycles.com

Team members will be selected and contacted by Sept 15, 2009.

Oh man…I have lusted after Kestrels since the 4000 was released. If I thought for a second I was worthy of flying the colours I’d be all over this like dirt on a shirt.

I ride a Kestrel Talon for the past three seasons and love it. Do you sponsor 58 yr olds? If so I’ll even change my handle from “cerveloguy” to “kestrelguy”.

…I’m still waiting for the 76-78 Kestrel 4000 in 51 with 700 wheels. The Kestrel 4000 was 20 years ahead of its time and was my first carbon bike back in 1991. The moment I saw Mark Allen riding it in Nice, I needed to be on one!

I believe there is an error on the geometry chart on your website. the 52 Airfoil pro says 700 wheels, 8.5 head tube, but 40 mm BB drop. 8.5 cm head tube is indicative of a 700 bike in that size, however, the 40 mm BB drop is something that goes with a 650 bike. Should the BB drop be ~ 70mm if this is indeed a 700 bike? Something does not line up…by the way, if you can’t bring back the 4000, give us the Airfoil Pro in Ferrari Candy Apple Red like the first edition of the 200…

Frames are also an option if preferred although complete bikes are the focus so that all Team Kestrel athletes represent the brand completely.
