I have been renting these from my local shop for 2 years now. Only person that has used them due to them being 650s. Branson and IM Lou were the only two races so low overall miles. Sound like a good deal? Might want to get a wheel cover but this should be a good start.

Are they clinchers (aluminum braking surface)? Just a reference, I paid $900 for a set of 2010 404s with alum. braking surface (they had about 300 miles on them when I got em).
Not terribly helpful but Id say its right in line with what they are going for…esp if you’ve been the only person using them.
They are the exact same and online comparisons show that 1000 is about right.
Ebay had used 404’s with the aluminum from 2011 cheaper than $1,000 recently. Also, remember Zipp did that blow out at the end of last year on that wheelset where everyone had that model of wheels from 2011’s for $1599 or $1600. I think you can still find them online at some shops brand new for that price.
