2009 Race calendar quandry

O.K. I just got word that the only decent Oly race here in St. Louis is being held Aug 22nd this year instead of over the Labor Day weekend as per normal…what’s the issue you ask…??

I am doing IM Louisville the following Sunday…would I be nuts to race an Oly that close to IM?? My normal weekend prior to IM would be a pair of 60 x 4 bricks on Sat and Sunday with Sunday being at recovery pace. So, could I race the Oly on Sat and then do my normal 60 x 4 at recovery pace on Sunday or is this just asking for too much trouble?

You’re going to do 60 repeats of 4 miles or minutes? Or is that 4X 60 min.

Sorry if I was unclear…my 60 x 4 workout is a 60 mile ride followed by a 4 mile run…
