How can they preview 2004 I don’t know if they actually got the 2004 Kestrels out? I mean I have seen pictures but I have yet to see a shop with the Airfoil pro and everytime I ask they say “we just haven’t gotten them yet, they are delayed”.
Those are some pretty cool bikes… Is anyone riding the road versions? I would like to know how they stack up road-wise. I know they are pretty good in the tri department.
I have a Talon, it essentialy a road bike. I really like it! Smooth, fast, sturdy.
About a month ago, I bought a 2004 Talon SL with a road bike set-up and clip on aerobars. So far, I really like the bike, and I think I am going to use it in triathlons next year instead of my QR Tequillo Tri-bike. The Talon climbs much better, I don’t feel bumps, and it is far easier to shift with a road bike set-up than with a tri-bike set up.
What is my problem?? Kestrels do nothing for me. Nothing at all. I know they are nice bikes and their owners are crazy for them. I just can’t get exticited about them. Which is a bit concerning given I get excited when the wind shifts.
Funny…I’m not so taken with these new graphics. I much prefer the matte nude carbon on my Talon SL.
To Pooks…I resisted the Kestrel siren call for years. They didn’t really appeal to me either. Now that I have one, though…all I can say is WOW! I have complete faith in this bike. I love the ride. I love the solidity. I love the design.
