I actually like the white cervelo P2k :). Would like to hear more about the spec on it if anyone has any info. Is this picture Ultegra spec + TriMaxPlus vision bars - will these be standard (replacing syntace)?.
Yeah, I also heard the ONE will not be produced in 2005 but don’t know what will replace it. Didn’t it sell well?
Of course everyone has different likings. I personally just prefer dark colored (black, darkblue) bikes.

The probably replace them with a better bike. Two year ago the replace the 02 One with the very popular Dual (and downgraded the One).
Hmmm. I’m going to have to cast my vote in favor of the new colors. The Soloist bikes have graphics that mimic the P3SL with a very subdued, matt finish. Nice.
I really, really like the new P2K color. Fantastic.
As for the P3 Carbon: That was the single most exciting bike at the show. Everyone was caught off guard by that. A very, very pleasant surprise.
Time was when they did not allow camera’s into Interbike. Then it was for accredited press only. Now everyone seems to be taking pictures and emailing/posting them all over the place.
It would seem that digital camera’s( in some cases right in people’s cell phone) and the internet have really changed the upfront marketing game quite a bit.
Whatever the case, based on what I have seen hear Cervelo has just saved a ton on reasources that formerly would have gone to promotion and marketing to get the word out to dealers and consumers about new product. Call it passive and free online marketing. Kudos to Gerard and Phil.

The sound very nice. But I didn’t want to start a bike color thread. Everyone has different preferences.
Tom, were there more (new) Cervelos at Interbike?
Thinking exactly the same thing here Fleck…Cervelo couldn’t ask for better media coverage than this…and it’s all free…there probably isn’t a bike site on the net right now that isn’t abuzz with talk of this stuff. Kinda makes their marketing guy either redundant or if he’s responsible for the idea of getting into forums like ST…a genius.
I think that there is still a place for a good marketer, but the game has changed a bit. However, don’t get the idea that ST has this big following. If you asked most triathletes what Slowtwitch is, they would go, " Slow what??"
Just curious, the fact they showed a P3 Carbon at the show implies it will be available to the public soon(ish). However, I didn’t see it on their web site under the “Sneak Preview of 2005 models” link. In fact, it says that the P3 frame will remain unchanged. I would consider a carbon version to be a (very desireable) change. Any thoughts on that?
“I think you are making a mountain out of a mole hill… It has already been stated earlier in this thread that the P3 Carbon is slated for production in early 2005.”
Dude, mellow… Sorry, just asking a question. I obviously missed that comment (not to mention Demerly’s Interbike Review thread)…
While this may/may not be the case with Cervelo, please don;t do yourself the disservice of assuming any delivery time. Products are often introduced at Interbike well in advance of their retail availability- sometimes to research the interest.
I emphasize that I DO NOT imply this is the case with Cervelo.
