I’m looking to purchase a tri bike. I can get a trek equinox 7 2004 model for $999.00…is that a good deal…is this a good bike…looking to use just for some sprint tris…thanks

$1000.00 doesn’t seem like a bad price, but personally, I hate the thing.
I’ve done rants on it before. For that price I’d strongly encourage you to check out the Cervelo One or a QR Trueno. In my opinion, they are much better bikes.

I got a Cervelo One a year or so ago with Ultegra shifters for about $1,100. I recall Tom Demerly said he didn’t like the bike but I’ve been happy with it.
