Single best thing that makes it worth while? I would be remiss if I didn’t say that I met the love of my life (my now wife) at a club meeting. Distant second is the cool uniforms.

All the great people–Ironman (including 8 Kona qualifiers this year) to all our newbies in our Tri & Give program.
I also swim with the Embarcadero YMCA Tri Club. Not sure of the membership numbers, but the women’s club has been around for 5-6 years. I had never really liked swimming with a group before I started swimming with them.

Anybody know any tri clubs in the area of New Windsor in Orange county NY? Or northern Rockland county?
I know of the Hudson Valley tri club but they are to far north to get to after work. Hoping to find something closer.
As far as I know, the only 2 Tri clubs in this general area are the HV (based out of Kingston mostly) and the NY (based out of White Plains).
I’m in no-man’s land in between them…
