18 tooth Shimano cog

Anyone know if you can get one that’s Shimano 10 compatible? The Novatec doesn’t look compatible and the “junior models” appear to have compatibility issued as well.

wouldn’t the shimano DA and ultegra 11-21 10-speed cassettes (11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-21) each include an 18-tooth cog? admittedly, it is riveted to some of the others. are you looking for an 18 cog that is “alone”?

Yep. I’m assembling a spinner-friendly 12-23 for IMFL. I joined the 12,13,14,15,16,17,19 from the 12-27 and the 19-21-23 fixed cogs from my 11-23, and ended up with two 19’s. I’ve found that the only time I really feel the need to come off the large CR is to fill the gap where an 18 could be. LBS’s could not give me an answer.

Shimano sells a 12-23. It is a standard casette. 12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-21-23.

It is a great casette. I have that for flatter courses, and a 12-27 for hilly courses.
