I’m leaning towards the HUNT 40 Carbon Gravel Race Wheelset which are currently $1084 to give myself a wheelset slightly deeper and lighter then my Spinergy GX wheels. The Reserve 40/44s are a little more than I was thinking of spending. Primarily riding PA gravel roads not single track like gravel. Riding an OBED boundary.
I just bought the 35mm gravel wheels. Only 799. At the shop now being set up. Can’t wait. Their current sale is hard to pass up. I just bought my buddies Open Up and put my Orbea Terra’s wheels on it, but am moving them back so I can sell the Terra as a full bike. If anyone in Colorado is looking for a good deal on an Orbea Terra, let me know. LOL.

I went with these: HUNT 35 Carbon Gravel Wheelset – Hunt Bike Wheels US. At that price I couldn’t pass them up. And I got a discount from my shop since I race for them. So quite the deal.

Doing my part for the US bike eco system. Ordered my son an OBED Boundary. $1999 with GRX 800 right now. He didn’t want to match my black carbon with black decals. So spent the extra $199 for pine green. He’s been riding a 2006 Obrea Road Star which isn’t fit for gravel and is 3 years older than him.

My wheels are hanging out by you. Apparently they missed a ride on a trailer in commerce city in the 18th. UPS has been less than helpful. I was supposed to receive them yesterday. Everyone at UPS sounds like a robot and can’t explain what “We were unable to dispatch the trailer on time. This may cause a delay” means. That update was 9:30AM on the 18th. Guessing the wheels are in multiple pieces now.
