Wow. This guy defines HTFU.

Ever heard of a dude named Terry Fox?

Makes ol’ Brad seem like a bit of a pussy, No?

Thanks for the link.

Amazing.

"Makes ol’ Brad seem like a bit of a pussy, No? "

Is this necessary?

Nope… but trash-talk rarely is.

(Thanks Dad)

Thanks for the Terry Fox link and reminder. It still chokes me up to 25 years later. Terry Fox’s courageous run and tragic death touched millions and has generated a tremendous legacy that continues to benefit Cancer research today.

With that said, I have to say that, IMHO, very few people are qualified to call ol’ Brad a pussy. The following come to mind:

Terry Fox - Marathon of Hope
Steve Fonyo - completed the run across Canada on one leg.
Rick Hansen - wheeled around the world (34 countries, >40,000kms) to raise money for spinal cord research

Can anyone else add to the list?

Cheers,
Chris

Aren’t those three all Canadian? Tough mothers.

All Canadians and BC boys at that. We make 'em tough in BC.
Well, excluding me - see my posting in the ‘best dumb injuries thread’ - hospitalized for a blister

That’s a good cause. I’ve given to them in the past and have documents on what I need to do to setup a fundraiser for them in my inbox. Time to get started on it.

Damn - that is impressive. It shows his times there - they are mostly in the 4:00-4:30 range, but he can still pop in a 3:15 or so on a whim. Damn.

I think I’ll make a chart or something using his times and see where they go.
