13-21 Cassette

I don’t think anybody makes this specific cassette, but if somebody does I’d appreciate hearing about it. I havn’t found the specific teeth count on the cogs of the different set available. Could somebody let me in on the 2 or 3 sets I’d need to mix and match to make a 13-21 cassette?

They were very common as 7 sp freewheels. I used to have one. Don’t know about 9 sp.

Someone has a 13-23 on ebay super cheap, maybe you can mix the top gears off a 12-21 to get 17-18-19-21 if that is what you want. I think that combo will work since the bottom cogs are not attached to each other, but I may be wrong. If someone here has a 12-21 they can tell you for sure. Otherwise Harris cyclery (sheldon brown link)could set you up.

Thanks for the links, it looks to me like maybe an Ultegra10 with a 12-21 would be the easiest option to have a cassette that doesn’t skip any teeth. Now to figure out what it would potentially cost to go from my Ultegra9 to an Ultegra10, I really have no idea.

You can order any combination you want. I haven’t tried them but it sounds interesting.

Nashbar has a 13-23 105 cassette

That should be a 13,14,15,16,17,18,19,21,23

I’m sure your local bike shop could get you one too
