10 speed chain question

I just “upgraded?” to a Shimano 10 speed drive train. Now I read that Shimano doesn’t recommend removing the chain to clean it (something I routinely did with my 9 speed chain). Now I can’t even find replacement pins for a 10 speed chain (unless they are the same as the 9 speed pins). I can clean my chain in place, but I would like the ability to remove and reinstall my chain for other reasons. What is everybody else doing out there?

Wipperman
.

I cleaned mine in place. I did have some 10-speed pins, they are NOT the same as 9-speed (different widths) so every now and then I would remove it for a thorough cleaning. I just recently switched to Wipperman but don’t have enough miles logged yet to comment about those chains.
