1. Powercranks 2. Good wrench in DC/ North VA

I just relocated to Arlington VA, and I am looking to move my powercranks from one bike to another. I went by my LBS last week to get a bent rear derailuer hanger fixed on my bike with PCs. The wrench looked at the bike and said, “you want me to try to fix those cranks too?” That was not a good sign. He also remarked on the fact that my hub was a little strange (guess he has never seen a powertap before). Again, not good.

So…

Frank, is there a LBS who has bought and installed PCs in the DC area? Also, what type of labor charge should I expect?

Anybody else have PCs out here? Who installed them?

I am traveling right now so don’t have easy access to that information but there have to be plenty of good ones available and there are a fiar number of users in the area. Ken Mierke can probably answer that for you though as he is in the area and has several clients on the PC’s.
