Wow. 1,000 posts. I hope at least the majority have not be stupid/useless/wrong/offensive/etc. I believe this is proper ST protocol for the 1K mark?
Just 7,334 to go or an average of 9.9 per day…

The power of delete has always been there. He just helped a bastion of the forum out of a jam. As you can tell from his actions the forum member is very concerned about appearances, decorum and his reputation. I think that is to be commended.
I was wondering what happened to the wind tunnel stuff.
Was somebody talking out of school?
It got sort of out of hand with people essentially demanding to know what it was. I think Tom opened a major can of worms, which was probably forseeable, but I certainly think was an accident. I think he just didn’t want to preempt Ford/IMNA/WTC in publishing data that obviously THEY paid for. I think he was excited to be a part of it and wanted to share, but it got out of control. So Dan obliged Tom and deleted the thread. The great irony is that if you read the thread carefully, it seems like it is a 99% probability that they testing is going to be used to establish better guidelines for stagger, drafting, and the like. Of course, everyone jumped in being like “oh, what do I need to buy next?” and “Cannondale is conspiring to make their bikes look better than Cervelos” and all sorts of other nonsense.
That’s the long answer to a rather short question…
Thanks for the recap.
Unlike roadfused, I kinda like the wildass tangents some of these threads take. This sounded like a good one. Went from wind tunnel to I may not have the coolest bike in town, probably in 5.8 seconds.
As for the cannondale conspiracy, cool. I just bought a caad 8 R1000. Fun to be on a bike again and wow have things improved since my last one.
I can tell without even looking that your seat will be too high, that your clothes will not match your bike adequately, that you should have bought a Cervelo, and that you will be given preferential treatment at IM races with regards to your transition rack due to your purchase.
I’m sorry for you, really I am…
How dare you!!!
I’ll have you know that I have impeccable fashion sense!
(for a fat bastard on a bike that is better than my ability for the forseeable future.)
I think the preferential treatment at an IM would be kinda cool though. Would I get my own fluffer, I mean assistant to help with the change? That would be nice.
cool.
i’m pokin’ along at a one a day rate average. i have about another year.
