1-0 for tradition

Tyler improves his pedalling the traditional way; fixed gear riding in the winter/spring - no Power/Rotor Cranks for the Champ.

And one for technology…http://images.velonews.com/images/report/6807.8857.t.jpg

Bobby Julich scored a bronze using these babies.

Interesting - seems like they do the same job as RotorCranks? (But cheaper and less weight).

From the article (following the link above) :“riders favor the rings for climbing, and … heavy-power flat stages (i.e. TT).”

Will this be the same for Rotors? (I can’t imagine that an oval ring or Rotors would be usable for myself, spinning with a cadence of 105)

They’re more like super “Bio-Pace” chainrings - akin to the ones we saw years ago, only with the elliptical shape even more pronounced. And filled in (like the DA ring) to look cool, I guess…

as a former mapei rider bettini has used powercranks considerably . . . . . . . . . . .

:“riders favor the rings for climbing, and … heavy-power flat stages (i.e. TT).”

Much the same as for Rotor Cranks, however these chainrings do not work at all like Rotors. They do not eliminate the dead point.
