It is coming up on show time!

Give us your nominations for “Golden Vapor” Awards- all the gear that was so cool, it never even existed.

ST’er’s- what say you?

Shimano deep Carbon rims or anything carbon and Shimano.

Dave in VA

Good one.

How about Shimano carbon compact cranks?

Any new Cervol model not already made public, actually come to think of it throw the carbon Soloist on that list.

Diadora Iron Mythos tri shoes

saw a pair on display before a race last September

Mythos is an appropriate name

Sorry…

Since it was ordered at Interbike 2004, I would have had to add our Giant TCR Composite TT framesets had we not finally recieved them only 3-weeks ago.

Reynolds Disc Wheel. They displayed one at Interbike 2003, and it still does not exist.

My all time favorite (despite the industry drama):

The Syntace (now Linear Components’) Blackbird

I guess that aerobar is so fast, it got classified since nobody has seen one! I am hoping to see a prototype of the new Lightweight Disc wheel (http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech.php?id=photos/2005/tech/features/stefan_behrens/LW-Jav_04)

Yes! Much like the plane. Ha!

I nominate Hed, for the Stinger 9.0 and Carbonlite disc that never were. All year I waited, on backorder, getting a different story everytime we called…2 months, 4 weeks, 2 weeks, we don’t know, then back to 2 months, etc. Finally, almost a year later I have given up and bought from another brand.

Have too much time in my hands. Always dreamed if the P3sl was a great bike, how can you improve without going carbon? Maybe making it titanium but using Litespeeds Vortex tubes which have nicer character. This would probabaly ride very plush. Everything was created in my mind and corel. I hope I don’t get torched for this.

Send that to Herbert…NOW.

Dude!!! Thats awesome!!

Its totally in a league of it own, if anyone could produce that there would be orders for ever. And going by this forum i’m not even sure that you couldn’t charge whatever you wanted as well.

I used to own a Blade and remember the great comfort of ti and its distinct difference with carbon comfort. Carbon has a dead feeling while ti has a livelier feel, but both more confortable than aluminum. Also, the P3 in ti finish would have less frame maintenance. It should be ball burnished and not polished. Dream…dream…dream…
