Full iron? For 10 years now I enjoyed racing up to half immensely, with an option in the back of my mind for doing one full sometime. Was of one and done mentality. Did it then did another. Didn't go as well as I hoped. So now thinking about another in 2019.

Well, if you really think it was a mistake, there's always the deferral option (assuming you signed up early enough to get that benefit). Could defer it to 2020.

I took up gravel riding... haven't done another IM.

Didn't even do a triathlon this year. Might do a 1-2 for fun next year.. but nothing longer than 70.3.

Even if you skip a year, there's a 140.6% to 226% chance you'll relapse.
