I'm 38...my wife thinks I am cool (most of the time). As for the young girls in the 25-29 age group, I would not know what they think as it is largely irrelevent :-)
23...and I have to say that I have been doing this sport for 2 years now and it's frustrating at how few people in this age group compete...why is that?
"The bicycle riders drank much wine, and were burned and browned by the sun. They did not take the race seriously except among themselves." -- Ernest Hemingway, The Sun Also Rises
Well, you have held out well. I am only 38 at and sadly, I have already turned into my dad. Last nite at soccer practice, I singled my son out and told him that he had to do some extra work on his kicking if he wanted to play centre forward :-(. Then again, I have to thank my dad. He never drove me anywhere when I was a kid and I had to ride my bike everywhere. Some days, I'd ride 15K to play a soccer game, play the game and then ride home. I was training for triathlon and I did not even know it !
Welcome!! It's really not so bad. But I'm turning into my mother, I look at my 16 year old daughter and I find myself saying..."isn't that skirt a little short??" Can you make that shirt meet the pants and not expose so much of you stomach?"
The only serious thing that has happened is that I can no longer read the paper without readers and if the lights are dim in a restaurant, I can forget about seeing the menu! _______________________
