They might announce who got the 70.3 World Championship for 2021.

Sort of on-par with Trek's "big announcement" as far as significance and not overhyping.

It's a new Ironman in the USA being announced in June. Ironman Des Moines, Ironman Fayetteville, Ironman Memphis or Ironman Tulsa.

New IMs are now given the Olympic treatment it seems. I just hope community support is taken into account somewhat among all the financial breaks.

Personally, I'd hit Memphis for the food alone. All the others? nah.

Des Moines could be a pretty tough course depending on where it is. I can guarantee it’s gonna be hot and humid though. I don’t care what month they put it in.

I'm very unenthused by all of these. Like there's some good Barbecue in Memphis and Fayetteville, a Symphony in Tulsa...but any of these in Mid-June is gonna suck unless you're purely training for Kona and have already qualified.

At least in Des Moines it can be. Though hot is normal in Sep.

Before I got into Tri's, HyVee had what seemed to be pretty popular when it happened.

Unpredictable? Eh, it's still gonna he hell on earth and humid in those locales in September. They would be pretty nice October races though.
