tri-bars on road bike?
I have just bought a pair of expensive and rather sexy carbon fibre Profile tri-bars and the stupidly read an article here about fit. So it seems that i have wasted my money and took the thread out of my Spinachi bars getting them off. Great end to a weekend when i DNF'd due to a flat on sunday.

Can i use the bars or am i flogging a dead horse?

If you have the Carbon Stryke's, there is no reason you can't use them on a road bike. I actually prefer them to the Jammer GT's, which put my wrists at a strange (painful) angle. The carbon Strykes can be adjusted quite short, and you may need to use a tubing cutter or a hacksaw to remove excess material from the extensions behind the handlebar.

If you have the Sonic Strykes, sorry I can't help you there.

J.
