trek SC to older bmc tm01 (fit) + bmc info
Quote | Reply
after a previous deal fell through-

If im riding a medium trek SC, mid far stem, 15mm spacer and mono bar set all the way out (stack reach 517/408), can i assume an older BMC (circa 2013) med/long at 515/418 would be ok ( all spacers available with the bmc's p2p system)

As for the bmc themself, just how wide can these brake tracks get? Is a super 9 in the rear too much to ask? Anything to watch out for in particular?

I have a 2013 TM02 and my Jet 6+ with 25mm GP4000’s is a very tight fit. I think the Super 9 is wider but I don’t have any experience with it. The rear brake on the time machine is a PITA to adjust.

I have no problem running a super 9 on my 2014 TM01. I use 23mm 5000s as the 25s will end up rubbing against the frame. I haven't had any problems adjusting the brake when switching from an 808 to the disc...
