If you go with a bag that has a rounded front it actually captures the air and sweeps it over the top. Check out the Stealth Pocket 400. We tested this bag with ERO Sports on a bike that had a slammed/integrated stem, and there was actually a savings of having the bag on there vs not having one.

Thanks Candice.
I did have the 500 on my list as the one I'd use if I go that route. I'm a sucker for a clean top tube though. I was looking at the 400i that I have mounted on the back of my saddle and I do believe that I have enough room to fit 2 bonk breakers in there, but I need to come up with a way to allow me to remove just one at a time. Time to hit the drawing board and see what I can come up with.

Can you wedge them & strap them down just underneath the Torpedo bottle between the bottle & the Torpedo mount? I have seen gels up there so can't see why you couldn't do the same with bars. Then you don't have to reach back to get a bar.

I'm still waiting on the frame, but the rest of the Di2 goodies should be here Wednesday. So I thought I'd get a start with what I have on hand. Just one e-tube wire fished through the bars ready to be cut and spliced into the shifters to keep everything clean and hidden.

Is that a new fairing between the stem and frame?

Great build! Some more photos details of your bars and cable routing would be helpful.
x2 on the cable entry cover question. Is that an Alden part? Very clean with the fork steerer and Vuka tucked down tight above the headtube:)

Yep, it's an Alden part. He sent over a 3d printed fairing that I'm having painted to blend in a bit more with the frame.
He also did my BTA mount. Awesome stuff!

I'll get a few close up pics to share. Yes it's pretty clean with the battery and junction box tucked into the top beam.
Only thing better would be a new front end from Dimond... we can only hope!

Eric, What width Alden BTA mount did you get with the Zipp Vuka Stealth? The standard or the wide version? I have my Vuka Stealth on the way but don't have a width measurement on the extensions yet. Thanks.

I'm impressed. The Glen Alden part makes a very visible difference over the standard beam. Nice work.

It's the standard width. Pretty adjustable and has been solid for 3 years of consistent use. The garmin hides nicely behind the bottle, but may be a bit too far back for those riding very forward.

Here is a close up of the cables coming off of the bars into the beam. Pretty easy if you have the right mechanic working for you.
The fairing is in the shop being painted but will sit right on top of everything. I've drilled out a hole for the brake cable to pass through.
With the flash, you can really see how the paint job will look when the sun hits it...

Thanks Eric! Looks nice. The cover will be a bonus. Short stem on the Vuka Stealth? The photo is a little left for stack details. Those are the 25mm risers on the base bar?
Re: show me your DIMOND [SummitAK]
[ In reply to ]
Yes, sorry. 25mm risers with a slammed stem. I've actually dropped from 50mm risers and a few spacers on the Shiv a few years ago to only the 25mm risers on the relatively lower Dimond. I've been working with Dave Luscan quite a bit on my fit and have slowly evolved it to a much slipperier position. The move from 175mm cranks to 170 and now 165 mm has made most of the difference. It's taken 3 years of gradual changes and I'm still not sure I'm done, but I've been careful not to lose any power in the process. The bike is important, but position is king.

Jordan,
Where did you put waterbottle bosses on your bike? I'm thinking I want them on the top tube for a bento box and down tube for an extra water bottle for training.

Jordan, you've gone on about how the Dimond allows for modular enhancements. Will the new, teased superfork be plug and play with the current frames?

Downtube and top tube. I am not sure which - if any - I will use. But it made no sense to me not to have the option.

Yes. Those statements were made in advance of the new fork being announced publicly, but with knowledge that a new fork was indeed coming and that it would be compatible with the existing frame.

Here it is. Well not yet anyway. Chris sent me a handwritten card in the mail and I wanted to share it as I'm rather impressed that anyone would take the time to do this.
