just got my hands on a (used) tacx flux s (model T2900).
i'm slowly getting things set up and had a frustrating day. in trying to mount my bike (an old cervelo soloist alu, ~2004), i found the rear dropouts weren't fitting onto the trainer without a lot of stretching. once it was on, it seemed angry.
i realize now that I need to remove the casette and then find+install a 1mm spacer (where the hell do i find one of those?) in order to get the alignment right for my 9-speed drivetrain.
but what's up with the rear spacing? there are two black nuts that screw on either side of the trainer at the quick release - are they optional spacers? or do i just need to muscle my bike on there and damn the torpedoes? i tried a second frame that i'm building at the moment (a brand x RD01) and it was similarly too small.
what am i doing wrong here?
