a very poor decision.

not only did i decide to do a spur of the moment ftp test, but i failed to recall that a mere 2 hours earlier, i had eaten the worst meal possible for physical activity.

OUTSTANDING!

Sounds exactly like something I'd do ;-)

Like: biz trip to Houston in 08. Ate a sh*tload of BBQ. Then went to the gym and ran 10mi on the treadmill. Holy crap that sucked.

I ran my best half marathon the morning after killing an entire "loaded nachos" platter and a half dozen Corona's by myself...the results have not been able to be replicated no matter how hard I have tried...

Yeah, I can't remember if I was any lighter the next morning due to mass evacuation. I was also on short sleep and totally not looking to PR at the race. I thought I was on to something for a minute there...

I thought spaghetti would have been good, but the tomato sauce kept repeating on my FTP test last night. I kept it down, but only just.

Its funny you had a PR, because I actually had a great test, I think I simply suffered more at the end because I wasn't just tired, I was fighting the regurg.
