maching a road bike with a tri bike
Is there possible to mach the dimensions of my tri specific bike with a road bike so that the 2 became equal in dimension and angles?

I think that the only thing that i cant change is the head tube angle

Is there any problem with that?

I will have a free road bike soon but as a triathlete i don´t want to change my position on the tri specific bike

Dear Sergio,

It's certainly possible to match your tri-bike geometry with a road frame, given the right components. The only problem is that the road bike won't handle as well as your tri-bike, or like it would with a classical set-up.

My personal experience is that if you ride a not so aggressive set-up on your tri-bike, 75-76deg, then you won't feel much difference between your tri-bike and your retro-fitted road bike.

Also there are a great number of pros that have two bikes, one tri-bike where they race and do limited training and a road bike where they log the majority of their training.

Hope this helps!

PS - Congrats on you Worlds performance, this is only the beginning! :-)
