jonathan page and cervelo

what's the deal with jonathan page and cervelo?

he's kicking ass, but doesn't appear to be riding a cervelo or hottubes frame anymore. Cross has already taken off, and is going to get even bigger soon, it's hard to believe cervelo isn't using best, and arguably most visible, american cyclocross racer to push a line of cyclocross bikes. anyone know the story here?

um, well, daily coverage on cyclingnews, cyclocross race series' in southern florida, and the fact that the big companies operating in the orient all find the growing cyclocross market to be big enough to offer cyclocross bikes. Wheel companies like zipp, mavic, american classic, reynolds, fsa and pretty much everyone else are all offering cyclocross specific wheels and components. Walk into your LBS, there's a decent chance they have a cyclocross bike on the floor. American development teams are placing an emphasis on cyclocross racing, even sending squads to race in europe. 5 years ago none of this was the case.
