to others? Like in running is there some kind of chart?

So, I prob do sound like a dork, but, it's all good...at least I'm a cute dork.

No, I'm not being glib -- but enter some races. 5ks and 10ks are the best way to easily tell how you're doing.

Look at the web sites of races you'd consider entering. Most will have the results of previous years which you can view or download.
