I'm not sure who/what is the culprit on this issue. I had a steady power workout of 50 minutes and noticed a handful of dropouts during the workout. I'm running perfpro and have a usb extension cable with usb ant+. the usb ant+ stick sits just past my crank arm on the left side so slightly closer to my elite direto. I have a stages Left crank PM which controls the trainer. The image below shows the dropouts. They're obvious because all of a sudden I will spin out for a few seconds then the resistance will kick back in and be hard for a few seconds then settle back to where it's supposed to be. any ideas what the issue could be? it's not the end of the world as each time it happens it's only for maybe 5 seconds total.

Maybe some weird power saving configuration is messing things up. I had some issues solved by plugging in my power supply into my laptop while riding. Also the USB cable extension is a must.
I had that issue in the past but my laptop is plugged in. I took a look at perfpro faqs. One thing mentioned is turn off bluetooth. Will give they a try.
