cervelo, carbon post (aero?) and shimano shoes
Quote | Reply
Multipart queston: I have a 200 or so One (beofre the new models came out) and find the ride a little harsh. I was thinking about switching to a carbon seatpost. Is this doable? Thoughts, suggestions? If so, should I go aero or not?

Also, thinking about a pair of the new Shimano tri shoes. Any experiences with them?

thanks

you also might think about switching to one of the tri specific saddles...

If I remember the one haeving round tubes and a round seat post... you should be able to buy any carbon seat post and put it in... From what I have heard the aero posts don't work (aero wise) and they are expensive... Oh and be sure to measure your seat post hight before putting the new one in.

You should be able to swap posts without a problem on the One. Having a carbon fork and carbon post does make a huge difference on an aluminium frame. I was quite surprised initially that my aluminium TCR felt as comfy as my old steel steed with this carbon combo. My wife swapped both on her OCR abd noticed an obvious difference
