can someone school me on look/xpedo cleats
Quote | Reply
1) are all look keo cleats the same? i.e., do the same cleats fit their keo max, keo classic 1/2/3, keo sprint, keo blade pedals?

2) i see in other bike forums discussion of look/xpedo cleats as if they're interchangeable. are they? Can i use an xpedo cleat with a look pedal? or, put another way, can I use a look cleat for a pedal designed for/supplied with an xpedo cleat?

thanks, sorry if these are stupid but after a dozen internet searches I just can't seem to find these answers plainly stated.

I use the cleats that came with my Keo Classics on a pedal that was supplied with xpedo cleats (Assiomas) with no issue.

1) Yes, all KEO cleats compatible with all KEO pedals. When shopping within the Look line, compatibility issues are when you get into the Look Delta line, etc.

2) Other sources saying yes to Thrust + KEO:

I went through this process last year.
The answer is yes or almost yes.
Look cleats almost perfectly fit xpedo pedals. They ar a touch difficult to click out of compared to the xpedo cleats.
Xpedo cleats can fit into Look pedals, but I felt that they squirmed a little.
I think the shapes are very slightly different. In the end I went with xpedo cleats and pedals exclusively. My experience is that the expedo pedals are excellent quality and excellent value.
