Do need a little sweat , stubble, vaseline? I've worn them three times and only the 2nd time they stayed up fine. It may have been hot that day.

What brand are you using? Most have some form of silicone gripper on the cuff.

You might try wiping the area where the rubber grips hits your leg with a bit of rubbing alcohol to remove any oils when you put the socks on
Thanks for the input people. They may be Rule 28. I know they are from Europe and they do have a silicon band at the top which doesn't seem sticky. I will hit them with some alcohol next time I use them. (probably next year). Thanks again.
