Remember those. Apparently even the Team Once guys couldn't control them in the wind.

Actually I dropped out of the bike race scene in the 80's ( BMX tracks close around me.) Last I remember were tuff wheels and ACS Z rims ;o) But those sure look cool wish I had a set of my own I would build a bike around it. Wonder if anyone use's them on the track circuit and how they fair in the wind tunnel ? Now if anyone can find me a reasonable priced 81 Supergoose.

You can still get Skyway Tuff wheeels, buying some for my sons Schwinn Sting that I am rebuilding! The same bike I used to race back in the day. You can find ACS Z-rims, they used to flex when you did a "kick-out" but most never were straight again. My buddy had a Mongoose, with Tuff II's etc.. he was killed in atv crash back in the 90's, told his parents to never sell that bike, that I would keep it. They finally had a grandson so he is getting it, which is good did not want it to leave the family. There is no such thing as reasonably priced in NOS BMX bikes or parts, they are ridiculous right now! I want a Hutch!
