Seller telling me that this Flame Rouge wheelset was issued in Nov 2012, but I have some doubts based on the shape of the edge, carbon fiber pattern and spokes.

Flame Rouge - yes (front hub makes that clear)
2012 - no. He may have gotten it in 2012 but that isn't the new 2012 fairing.

I heard that the 2011 design was also unique, with a fairing slightly larger than 2010 but narrower than 2012. Any way to tell?

I had 2010 6/9 combo that were C2. I think 2010 were the first of the C2 rims.

I have a 2011 wheel that looks just like that.
Weave, spoke holes and hub all look the same.

My 2011 and has worked with no issues. All I use it for is racing.

The 2012 and newer uses the unidirectional carbon. So there is no weave at all.

I've got a set of 2010 Jet 6/Jet 6 and an early 2011 Jet 9 rear. Stickers are different. They went to the blocked HED late 2011 or 2012 IIRC.
Mine have been great. I'd pick them up again in a heartbeat. Matter of fact I just picked up a set of HED Ardennes CL C2 wheels for my daily wheelset.
