Anyone ever had this? What did you do about it?

I have it. My left hand is growing weaker, and the outside of my hand, including the two fingers, is numb and/or tingling most of the time. Plus, there's a big divot on top of my hand, between the thumb and forefinger bones where the muscle has completely atrophied. Gross.

Doc wants to cut and realign nerve at elbow, but I'm doing IMWI this year and am worried about down time.
